VigLink Vs Amazon (Pricing)

 

Next, I would like to compare the pricing for each affiliate network. The good news is : both VigLink and the Amazon associates program are free to join. However, with Amazon, you need to meet a certain quota.

 

Having said that, in order to be accepted into the Amazon’s Associates program, you are required to get 3 sales in the first 180 days of joining the program.

 

On the other hand, VigLink does not have a quota requirement for its affiliates. Approval for VigLink is somewhere between 48–72 hrs and you will be sent an email notifying you whether your site has been approved or in some cases, requesting more information.

 

 

What Is The Commission Pay Like?

 

As an affiliate of VigLink, you will get paid 75 percent of the commission, while VigLink will take the rest, 25 percent.

 

On the other hand, as an Amazon Associate, it will depend on the product that you sell. Amazon has a different set of commission rate based on different products you sell. • They have a lot of products to choose from, so affiliates have a higher earning potential.

 

• If you don’t have a website, you can still join the Associates program if you have a mobile app.

 

• They have a lot of great Free tools for their affiliates, which is great, because it will definitely help affiliates succeed as affiliate marketers.

 

• Amazon has OneLink tool, which is basically an HTML code, you paste into your website, and so if you have traffic from the US, they will be redirected to Amazon US, and if you have traffic coming from UK, they will be redirected to the Amazon UK. They are always adding more countries.

Pros Of VigLink:

 

• All the hard work is done for you. All you have to do is paste that snippet code into your website.

 

• You can use a plug-in to install VigLink instead of using the snippet code. Either way will get VigLink installed on your site.

 

• Free to join.

 

• There is no sale quota in order to be accepted into the program, as long as you have a website, you are good to go.

 

• They have a link shorten-er, Bit.ly , which you can use to share links on social media accounts.

Cons of Amazon Associates Program:

 

 

• As an affiliate, you have a quota to meet in order to be accepted into the program. Sometimes, affiliates find it hard to get 3 sales in the first 180 days.

 

• The commission rates have changed over the past year, so some affiliates may be earning less than before. And so this means, you need to get so many sales, to make good money. See the rates above.

 

 

 

Cons Of VigLink:

 

• Nothing critical based on my experience. You just have to make good use of their free tools and guides. 

 

 

Verdict

 

 

Both programs are great to join. I have never had any issues with either one. They are very easy to utilize and setup on your website or blog. And they both do their best to make it an easy ride for their affiliate members.

 

 

 

If you have just started in affiliate marketing, I highly recommend you sign up for VigLink, because you don’t have to worry about getting 3 sales within the first 180 days of joining the program. With VigLink, you input the code or install the plugin and VigLink will do the rest for you. You just focus on adding more content to your website.
