In this post, I will answer the question “Can You really make money from online surveys?”. To be honest, yes you can make money from online surveys. The reason I say this, because there are a few legit survey sites out there, which you can join and earn a few dollars here and there.

 

Having said all this, these legit survey sites are sites that will make you extra income on the side each month, and will NOT make you rich, nor will they replace your daily job. Furthermore, it’s really only income which you could use to eat out at least once a month without having to worry to have to save for it.

 

 

How Much Money Can You Make A Month Taking Online Surveys?

 

Each survey site varies from one to another. Depending on the type of site we are referring to. So in terms of numbers, I would say you can generate around $50 CAD every month from several survey sites.

 

Also, not everyone is the same. So depending on the profile, you may get more or less surveys each week or each day. Furthermore, some individuals may earn more than others, because they take advantage of the referral programs survey sites offer. Having said that, depending on the site you refer to, some may offer a %, and others may offer a flat $ amount for referring individuals to join their survey site.

 

 

Can You Really Make Money From Online Surveys?

 

Below is a list of survey sites, which I am a member of and I usually earn about $30 each month. Although I could be making more each month; However,  I am busy working on my blog. So whenever I have some free time, I usually do a survey or two, or sometimes even more.

 

MintVine- Is an online community with multiple earning options. Users can earn money through Paid surveys, Offers, Daily Polls, and Referring friends. MintVine also has a great referral program that you can advantage of if you are socially active, and able to share with friends and family.

 

For every new community member who you can refer to MintVine, you will earn 15 percent of what they make on all Surveys and Offers. Moreover, you will earn 50 additional points when they complete their first survey! Also, you can cash out once your reach 1000 points which equates to $10 cash.

 

And again, you can be making that $10 and even more if you don’t want to take advantage of the referral program.

 

Below is a screen shot of my current mint vine account (as of the time of this post). As you can see, I still need 175 in order to cash out. Furthermore, I have available surveys which I can answer and earn 377 Points. Thus, is I do the surveys, I will be able to cash out $10. I think it is a win-win situation to join MintVine. And so if you have time each day to answer a survey or two, MintVine is a great survey Panel and above all it’s legit and Free To Join.

 

 

 

 

LegerWeb- Is the largest Canadian-owned online community. It is a survey site that allows its users to cash out once they have $20 in their account. So this one has a higher cash out limit than MintVine. But I find that you get more surveys with LegerWeb than with MintVine. You can make $10 CAD if you only do the surveys. But if you take advantage of the referral program and refer your family and friends, you definitely can reach the minimum payout threshold, $20.

 

With all this said, the referral program at LegerWeb is not so bad. You earn $1 per referral. It’s not the best, I know. As you can see below is an actual screenshot of my LegerWeb Account (As of the date of this post).

 

 

 

 

 

SwagBucks- Is an online rewards community. It enables users to earn points (called SB) by performing a variety of online activities, including searching, shopping, taking surveys, playing games, and discovering online content, and then to redeem those points for retail gift cards, PayPal cash, or other rewards.

 

The site has more than 12 million members, and it operates in the U.S., Canada, UK, Australia, Germany, and India. They also have a great referral program, which is free to take advantage of.

 

You can redeem your points by getting free Gift Cards from the stores that you love! Again, this is free to join

 

 

ClixSense– Is a global online community with multiple earning options. Users can join for free and have the opportunity to earn money doing Paid surveys, Cash offers, Crowd flower tasks, Referrals and more.

 

Clix sense has an awesome referral program. Let’s say you refer your friends and family to  ClixSense, You will earn 20 percent of what your referrals make! I think this site is worth checking out.

 

Also, the minimum payout threshold is only $10, which is really easy to reach each month. I don’t use this site a lot, even though I should. Below you can see a current screen shot of my clixsense account.

 

 

 

 

 

Can You Make A Living Doing Surveys?

 

You can’t make money with these above mentioned survey sites that I have come across. But if you are looking to make a side income each month, check out Gold Opinions. Once you sign up with them, you will be able to complete simple surveys and get paid for them (Average of $5-$10 per survey completed). Each survey is about 20 minutes long.

 

If you are in certain parts of the world, you may not be able to join Gold Opinions, but when you sign up with them and fill out your country of residence, they will let you know if you can join or not.
