In this post, I would like to show you how to create a you tube channel and make money . Creating a YouTube channel is not at all hard. In fact, it is so easy, easier than you might think. Please make sure you follow the exact steps below, and you should have your YouTube channel up and running in no time.
Before we start though, you need to have a gmail account in order to create your own YouTube channel. Gmail email account address is in fact free to have. So if you don’t have one already, you can click here to be redirected to show you how you can get yourself a gmail account today.
How To Create A YouTube Channel And Make Money
First of all, head on to your gmail account. So go to www.gmail.com, and sign in. In the top right hand corner, click on the small squares and you should see a list of items, one of the items is YouTube (please see screen below).
Once you click on “YouTube”, you will then be redirected to the main YouTube screen page. On the top right hand corner, you will see your gmail profile picture (if you have it set up to something), please click on it (see screen below). And click on “Creator Studio”
Next, you will be redirected to a screen, which will ask you to create a new channel. Please click on “Create New Channel” (please see screen below).
Once you click on “Create A Channel”, you will be asked to name your channel (please see screen below).
Once you are done with creating a name for your channel, you will hit “Create”. You will then be redirected to a screen like this (please see screen below). Please click on “Creator Studio”.
Once you click on “Creator Studio”, you will be redirected to the main page, where you will be able to upload videos, and have access to other tools such as the dashboard, channels, analytics, and much more. Please click on Channels, and click on “status and features”. See screen below for more information.
When you hit “Verify”, you will be asked to verify your channel either through a text message, or a phone call. Please enter the correct phone number, and enter the code in order to verify your channel. Please see screen below for more information.
now that you have set up your YouTube channel, next you need to fill out the description of your channel. In the description, you will need to include what kind of content and videos you will be uploading to your channel.
Having said that, this will depend on your Niche, or topic. In order to access your channel description, go to “My channel”, and click on About, and then Channel Description. Please see screens below for more information.
Go to www.gmail.com, and sign in. Then in the top right hand corner, you will see the small squares, click on them, and click on “YouTube”. Please see screen below for more information.
When you click on “YouTube”, you will be redirected to your channels main page. On the top right hand corner, you will see your YouTube channel, click on it and click on “My Channel”.
Once you click on “My Channel”, you will then need to click on “About”. Please see screen below for more information.
When you click on “About”, you will then be redirected to fill in the description of your channel. Please see below for more information.
That’s it, you are all set, and now you are ready to upload videos, and content to your YouTube channel.
♦ Adding Videos
If you want to add videos to your channel, simply go to your channel. Click on creator studio, and on the right hand side, click on “Videos”, and click on upload videos. Please see screen for more information.
Congratulations, you just created your own YouTube channel. It’s so easy. You can create as many channels as you like, using your Gmail account. YouTube has made it so easy for us to create Channels using our Gmail account.

How To Make Money From Your YouTube Channel?
There are several ways in which you can make money from your YouTube channel. The possibilities are endless; so are the earnings.
♦ Google AdSense
One of the easiest ways you can make money from your YouTube channel is through Google AdSense. With the use of AdSense, you would see contextual adson your videos and you make money whenever someone clicks on the ad.
You must be at least 18 years of age, or older to create your own AdSense account. Moreover, you will get paid through either PayPal or a bank account. You need to have a valid mailing address, as well as other information so AdSense can verify who you are and who to send the money to.
♦ Sponsored video
This is great for those that have a large number of visitors coming to their YouTube channel. So if you are new, and just started your YouTube channel, sponsored videos will not apply to you.

This has become a very popular way of earning money from YouTube channels. Creators of YouTube channels are now selling merchandise such as Shirts, coffee mugs, and etc.
To actually start selling your own merchandise, you need to have reached a large number of subscribers and fans. So this is not something you want to do at the beginning of your YouTube journey.
This is where by your fans will contribute money to your project. You can have crowd funded campaigns to help support your channel. But again, you need to have an established number of subscribers and fans interested in your channel for this to work.

If you have an established audience, you can go out and see your fans. This will build a stronger community with your fans. So you would hold live appearances with your audiences.

Having said that, with the use of these tools, you are able to see which kind of videos are attracting visitors, and based on that you would be able to resonate with your audience.
