Reasons To Self Employment

Reasons To Self Employment You Have Never Heard Of Before

Being self employed is a great lifestyle. So if you are already self employed or are currently seeking to become self employed, good for you. With all this said, I am a full time blogger and I work for my self, so I decided to share with you the reasons I love for being self employed.

In essence, the advantages to self employment outweigh the disadvantages to self employment. And there may be more reasons to self employment than what I have below. So please feel free to share some of your great reasons to self employment in the comment section below. I would be happy to connect.

No Peer Drama

There is no need to worry about having to deal with someone you dislike at work. You only deal with yourself now. Also, you no longer need to take orders from someone.

Own Your Own Office

You can buy the office you always dreamed of having. If you dislike anything about your office, you can now change it whenever you feel like it.

Less Spending

The second awesome reason to self employment is you will spend less compared to when working your usual 9-5 shift. And spending less means saving more every month. With all this said, you no longer have to worry about transportation costs, or paying for lunches out everyday.

For instance, if you pay $65 for gas each month to commute to work. And you pay $100 each month to eat out during lunch time. This is $165 of savings each month, which is about $1980 per year of savings.

Coffee Breaks

This one is my favorite, because I get to make Coffee any time I want, and I don’t need to wait until it’s break time. Also, I can snack on whatever I want, whenever I want. You no longer need to wait for your scheduled break time, because you can now do that at your own time.

Not to mention, it is much cheaper to make coffee at home than buying it from a coffee shop. For instance, if you want to purchase a cup of coffee, it will cost you some where around $2 and if you are a coffee lover (like myself), you need about 3 cups per day. Having said all this, it will cost you $120 a month ($6*22 days). You will find you will be spending much less than that when you make your own coffee at home.

Work With PJ’s On

Another advantage to self employment is you can work with your PJ’s on. You don’t really need a uniform or to even dress up to go to work. It will save you so much time in the morning. No need to spend long hours in front of the mirror or thinking what to wear to work each day.

In essence, depending on the type of work that you do at home, you may have to meet up with clients every now and then, but that is the only time you need to dress up.

Tax Advantages

Set Your Own Schedule

When you are self employed, it is normal to be putting a lot of hours into your business at first. However, once you have built clientele, you can then start to set your own schedule based on your life schedule.

Work From Home

Self employment is your answer if you love to work from home, or you love to decide where to work from. Depending on what you do, you can work from the comfort of your own living room.

Rush Hour Stress

If you worry about spending so much time commuting to work, you no longer have to worry about that if you work from home. No more stress.

Earn More

You can actually earn more when you are your own boss. With this said, you are not limited to making just your normal pay check amount every week or month.

Own Boss

When you are self employed, you are your own boss. You get to take time off whenever you need to. For instance, if you need to be somewhere at a certain date, you no longer need to get permission from your supervisor to do so, you simply take that day off. It’s as simple as that.
