Today I would like to share with you my honest review of being an Affilorama member. I came across Affilorama not long ago, but I have managed to get a clear idea of what the platform is all about. For this reason, I would like to discuss an overview of what Affilorama is (for those that are not sure what affilorama is all about), its pros and cons, pricing, and lastly, my verdict.

What is Affilorama?

 

Affilorama was founded in 2005 by Mark Ling. In simplest term, Affilorama is an online platform, which includes tons of videos, and training lessons and written material to help teach you build a successful affiliate online business.

How Much Does It Cost To Join Affilorama?

 

 

You can join affilorama as a starter member for FREE. You have limited access to the material in the platform, which is totally understandable, because they have premium member access, which is $67 per month. Becoming a premium member, will give you access to more training material and videos. However, if you join Affilorama as a premium member within the first 7 days, you will get your first month for $1.

 

 

There are optional Up-sells within Affilorama, such as , the AffiloTools (Included with the free membership), which tracks things like competitors, rankings, keywords, and etc. AffiloBlueprint, which costs $197 and this is basically the step-by-step training course for newbies. The Affilojetpack(costs $997), which are basically pre-made niche websites with content included, email swipes, and other ready-made material. This is good for those that do not wish to do any work, and rather have the work done for them.

 

Pros

 

• They have a starter membership which is absolutely free of cost. This gives you the opportunity to try it out and see what it’s like to be an Affilorama member.

 

• As a starter member, you are taught the basics of how to make money online using affiliate marketing techniques.

 

• You can subscribe for a 3 year term membership for as low as $497.

 

• If you message support, they usually get back to you within 24 hours.

 

• Support and help available from other members within affilorama.

 

• You get up to 15 hosted websites.

 

• As a starter member, you will have access to more than 80 video tutorials, which come with written notes, to help you set-up your own online affiliate marketing business.

 

• As a starter member, you will get the Affilo-tools for free.  This Affilo-tools is great for beginners.

 

• As a premium member, you will have access to webinars, and interviews.

 

• As a starter member you have access to the AffiloTools, which will track things like competitors, rankings, keywords, and etc.

 

• You can remain a starter member for as long as you want.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Cons

 

• Personally, I believe becoming a premium member is very costly ($67 per month). This is very high compared to other online platforms out there. But they do offer a 3 year subscription membership, which is approximately $166 a year.

 

• Some of the training materials is a bit outdated.

 

• Community is not as active as it should be.

 

• Support is limited at times.

 

• There are a lot of up-sells, so you would be paying so much in your first year, plus your monthly membership fee.

 

• You need to pay to purchase your own domain. You would think it would be included in the membership fee, but it is not. All this is added to the membership fees.

 

 

Verdict

 

I personally would rate Affilorama a 5 out of 10. It is great to have access to such information for a $0 cost. It is totally LEGIT, and the fact that you can try it for only a $1 for the first month, is good. However, I personally think $67 per month is too much, knowing that most of the information provided, can be actually web-searched online, for FREE. That said, I would not recommend upgrading to premium.

 

All in all, Affilorama is an OK platform, even though most of the training material can be web searched. However, if you are new to affiliate marketing, you really would not know what to search for. So that’s why join it as a starter member, just so you can get the idea of making money online. It is a platform you can utilize to get started. But not a platform to actually remain at, as most of the information found in the training should be updated every now and then. The online world just keeps changing every day.
