Before you create a You Tube channel, there are a few things you need to ask yourself as a You Tuber. For instance:
You first need to choose a topic idea for your channel. If you don’t have a topic idea in mind yet, or not sure what your You Tube channel is going to be about: Use keyword research tools to help give you an idea. Once you have decided on what your topic idea is going to be about. Next, you must know who your target audience is. With this said, you need to know who will be interested in watching your YouTube videos and why. And then you need to come up with video ideas. Now comes the fun part, which I like to call the “Being creative” part of creating a You tube channel : What you plan to use to film your videos. A lot of You Tubers start off with filming using their phones. And that is perfectly fine. You don’t need to start with any fancy equipment and try use natural lighting.
When you want to film, you must decide on a schedule. With this said, as a new you tube channel, film at least twice a week to keep your viewers satisfied. And the goal here is quality and not quantity.
Now you are ready to actually create your You Tube channel. Please follow the steps below for a step by step guide on how to create a you tube channel in less than 5 minutes.
Step 1. Create A Gmail Account

Step 2. How To Create A YouTube Channel
First of all, head on to your gmail account. So go to www.gmail.com, and sign in. In the top right hand corner, click on the small squares and you should see a list of items, one of the items is YouTube (please see screen below).
Once you click on “YouTube”, you will then be redirected to the main YouTube screen page. On the top right hand corner, you will see your gmail profile picture (if you have it set up to something), please click on it (see screen below). And click on “Creator Studio”.
Once you click on “Creator Studio”, you will be redirected to a screen, which will ask you to create a new channel. Please click on “Create New Channel” (please see screen below).
Once you click on “Create A Channel”, you will be asked to name your channel (please see screen below).
Once you are done with creating a name for your channel, you will hit “Create”. You will then be redirected to a screen like this (please see screen below). Please click on “Creator Studio”.
Once you click on “Creator Studio”, you will be redirected to the main page, where you will be able to upload videos, and have access to other tools such as: the dashboard, channels, analytics, and much more. Please click on Channels, and click on “status and features”. See screen below for more information.
When you hit “Verify”, you will be asked to verify your channel either through a text message, or a phone call. Please enter the correct phone number, and enter the code in order to verify your channel. Please see screen below for more information.
Once done, you need to fill out the description of your channel. In the description, you will need to include what kind of content and videos you will be uploading to your channel.

Step. 3 How To Access Your YouTube Channel Description
Go to www.gmail.com, and sign in. Then in the top right hand corner, you will see the small squares, click on them, and click on “YouTube”. Please see screen below for more information.
When you click on “YouTube”, you will be redirected to your channels main page. On the top right hand corner, you will see your YouTube channel, click on it and click on “My Channel”.
Once you click on “My Channel”, you will then need to click on “About”. Please see screen below for more information.
When you click on “About”, you will be asked to fill in the description of your channel. Go ahead and fill out the About information for your YouTube Channel. Please see below for more information.
That’s it, you are all set. Now you are ready to upload videos, and content to your YouTube channel.

Step 4. How To Add Videos To Your YouTube Channel
If you want to add videos to your channel, simply go to your channel. Click on creator studio, and on the right hand side, click on “Videos”, and click on upload videos. Please see screen for more information.

How Do You Tubers Make Money From Their YouTube Channel
There are several ways in which you can make money from your YouTube channel. The possibilities are endless; so are the earnings.
Google AdSense
One of the easiest ways you can make money from your YouTube channel is through Google AdSense. With the use of AdSense, you would see contextual ads on your videos and you make money whenever someone clicks on the ad.
You must be at least 18 years of age, or older to create your own AdSense account. Moreover, you will get paid through either PayPal or a bank account. You need to have a valid mailing address, as well as other information so AdSense can verify who you are and who to send the money to.

Affiliate marketing
This is a very common way of making money with your YouTube channel. It is simply choosing products that are related to your Niche or topic, and just promoting it on your YouTube video.
Having said that, you can promote products by doing product reviews, and when visitors click the affiliate link pertaining to that product, and actually buy the product using the affiliate link, you will then earn a commission.
Another way of earning money through affiliate marketing on your YouTube Channel is if you place affiliate links in the description area of the video for your visitors to see and use to make a purchase. This has become a very popular way of earning money from YouTube channels. Creators of YouTube channels are now selling merchandise such as Shirts, coffee mugs, and etc.
